Congratulations on discovering you are pregnant! Since qualifying eight years ago I have worked in both the UK and in New Zealand. During this time I have worked in both high risk and low risk maternity care gaining a wealth of experience. I have a strong passion for normal midwifery and enjoy nothing more than supporting a woman and her family through the miracle of pregnancy and birth. My philosophy is that pregnancy and childbirth are normal, physiological life events and my aim is to work in full partnership with women on their journey to motherhood. My aim in the partnership I will have with you is to ensure you feel supported, fully informed and safe. I have a passion for homebirth and water births and as part of my standard midwifery care I am very supportive of women who wish to use alternative therapies such as HypnoBirthing and alternative medicine. I take a small case load per month to ensure a high standard of care and am part of Hauraki Midwives who all share a holistic approach to care

I am contactable during normal working hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) by phone or text on 021-160-3337 or email me on My clinics are held in Northcote during school hours. I look forward to hearing from you

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Having three children myself, I feel very privileged in my role of helping women to become mothers. I truly value journeying with women and their families during such an important time in their lives. I believe in birth as a natural process and am passionate about supporting women to achieve normal physiological births. However I am also well trained to recognise complications when they occur and consult specialist services accordingly. I attend births at North Shore Hospital and Home, including waterbirths and VBACs. At Hauraki Midwives I work closely with a group of like-minded midwives who offer the same philosophy of naturally-focused care. I take a small caseload each month to allow to me to provide individualised care whilst also spending time with my family.

I am contactable during normal working hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) by phone or text on 021-256-6813. My clinics are held in Northcote. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a registered Midwife and have been providing LMC care to women for the last 14 years in a practice of 8 like minded midwives. Our practice philosophy is that pregnancy and child birth are normal and natural life events. Our clients are generally well women and we encourage them to be proactive in their own health and self care during pregnancy. We are happy to support women to birth at home or North Shore Hospital and offer waterbirths if desired. We embrace the use of complimentary therapies in pregnancy if clients choose, and will work collaboratively with other health professionals should any complications arise during pregnancy, labour, birth or in the postnatal period. We offer care that is professional, holistic in nature, woman and midwife centered and family friendly. Clinics are located at FlexaClinic in Lake Rd, Northcote, and Bella Mama in Belmont. Congratulations on your pregnancy. It is a privilege to be able to provide care to women and their whanau. Our model of care allows for continuity which means care is provided throughout pregnancy, birth and the first 6 weeks after baby is born. Over this period, communication, listening and time spent getting to know you allows your care to be individualised for your specific needs. I believe in a woman’s ability to grow and birth her baby and that birth is a normal physiological process. However, I have the skills to detect if a situation is deviating from that norm and in discussion with you plan care that is appropriate, including liaising with an obstetrician as necessary. I am passionate about waterbirth and about supporting women to make informed choices for themselves and their baby. At Hauraki Midwives I work closely with a group of like-minded midwives who offer the same philosophy of care. I am happy to support you to birth at Home or North Shore Hospital.

I am contactable during working hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) by phone or text on 027-232-3210 Alternatively you can email me at
